María Dalberg (b. 1983) has been active since she graduated in 2009 from Iceland Academy of the Arts. She has participated in 32 different exhibitions and film festivals. Her works have travel to 10 different countries and higher number of cities including New York, Berlin and Moscow.
She has been developing her language through moving-images and installations last 9 years. Her latest moving images has been in a closer relations through text, rhythm and drawings. She published her first book in 2016 called Grænagil, puplished by Dulkápan focusing on poems, drawings and photographs.
